Congratulations to the winner of the 2021 Timberwolf Support Organization Scholarship: Mikhail Alkaev. Here’s what our awardee had to say:
“I am honored to be the recipient of the TSO scholarship. Your generous contribution has allowed me to continue my education at PCC and pursue my career in computer science. Immigrant’s life is difficult and very challenging, but if you work hard and have somebody who believes and supports you, you will be successful. Thank you for believing in me. I appreciate your support a lot! This scholarship and opportunity to get a college education will help me to pursue my career in computer science and overcome obstacles my family has. It took the stress off, allowing me to focus on education. I promise to work hard and look forward to making everyone proud of me. Thank you again for your support.”
The Timberwolf Support Organization funds this scholarship each year from donations received from parents and local community members. This scholarship is intended to help students who have a financial need that may not be met by federal and state financial aid. We considered students who have applied themselves through high school, are motivated, and have good attendance.
