Winner of the 2021 TSO Scholarship

Congratulations to the winner of the 2021 Timberwolf Support Organization Scholarship:  Mikhail Alkaev.  Here’s what our awardee had to say:

“I am honored to be the recipient of the TSO scholarship. Your generous contribution has allowed me to continue my education at PCC and pursue my career in computer science. Immigrant’s life is difficult and very challenging, but if you work hard and have somebody who believes and supports you, you will be successful. Thank you for believing in me. I appreciate your support a lot! This scholarship and opportunity to get a college education will help me to pursue my career in computer science and overcome obstacles my family has. It took the stress off, allowing me to focus on education. I promise to work hard and look forward to making everyone proud of me. Thank you again for your support.”

The Timberwolf Support Organization funds this scholarship each year from donations received from parents and local community members. This scholarship is intended to help students who have a financial need that may not be met by federal and state financial aid. We considered students who have applied themselves through high school, are motivated, and have good attendance.  Click the picture below to learn more about Mikhail and other Class of ’21 honors and scholarship recipients.

Help Make This Graduation Fun for the Class of 2021!

Hello Tualatin Parents & Community Members:

We need your help! It’s been a CRAZY year but now it’s time to celebrate the TUHS class of 2021! This class has missed both junior and senior prom, homecoming, football games, and more.
We are hoping to make their last few months special. Covid-19 has restricted our ability to host a traditional grad night party so we are working hard to create add-on experiences for our seniors.
This is a large graduating class with 400+ seniors – so your support is needed and appreciated!
Local corporate businesses have been adversely affected due to Covid-19 and most philanthropy donation programs have been eliminated. As a result, we need to rely more heavily this year on parent donations. Please help us to enhance the last few scheduled events for this year’s graduating class.

How Can I Help?

  • Are you a business owner? If you are an owner or have a relationship with a local business, please consider asking them for a donation.
  • We are looking for cash donations to help cover costs like class t-shirts for each student, activities, food, prizes, and more!
  • Does your business do a corporate match? Please consider maximizing your donation through your employer’s corporate matching program.
  • Do you have any extra gift cards you can donate? Consider donating a gift card in any amount, or maybe you have some extras laying around that you can regift.
  • Spin the Wheel! Do you have any electronics, dorm room items, camping and recreational supplies, sporting equipment, small trinkets, and other grad related items we can use for giveaways?

How Do I Donate?

  • Mail or drop off in-kind donations or a check payable to Tualatin High TSO (reference Grad Fun) to Tualatin High School, Attn: TSO Grad Fun, 22300 SW Boones Ferry Rd. Tualatin, OR 97062;
  • Make a donation through the TSO PayPal account (select Grad Night from the drop-down menu);
  • Sign up here to donate a gift card or other prize for the “Prize Wheel”;
  • To schedule a pick-up of donated items, contact Cindy Murphy, 503.803.0239 – murphy.cindy33@gmail.com.

TuHS Theatre Presents: Out of the Picture

TuHS Theatre Presents: Out of the Picture

On the morning of Friday March 12th 2021, TuHS Theatre will publish their new show, Out of the Picture. This show was written by students specifically to be performed during distance learning. They’ve been rehearsing via Google Meets and filming each of their parts in their homes. These student detectives will ask YOU, the audience, to help them solve the case.
